What is the difference between sound absorption and soundproofing?

Soundproofing is trying to stop sound from getting into, or out of a room. E.g. blocking the sound from noisy neighbours. Sound absorption is making the acoustics within a room sound better, by reducing the amount of echo and reverberation.

How does sound absorption work?

ProSound™ Easy-Fix Panels are high performing, sound absorbing panels (for walls and ceilings) ideal for acoustic room treatment. They are designed to reduce reverberation and reflection of sound within rooms. By absorbing sound energy, they stop this energy from continuing to bounce around the room, which also helps to reduce reverberation within the room.

Can the Easy-Fix foam panels be customised?

Absolutely. The panels can be customised by colour, size and shape.

Are the Easy-Fix panels easy to install?

They are very easy and quick to install and panels are delivered ready to install with a backing paper that is simply peeled off. A comprehensive installation guide can be downloaded from the website and we are more than happy to answer any questions.

Fabric Colours

Cara is a plain weave panel fabric available in a wide selection of commercial colourways. A popular all round fabric with a textured look designed to be used in a wide variety of settings. The Matt finish makes it less reflective to light and ideal for application where video is being used.

Sonus is a pressed felt finish that is an ideal accompaniment for a modern interior. Its mottled colour pallet offers a wide range of colours.
