Lead times are up to 3 - 5 working days. For small parcels we endeavour to send them by courier on a next day service.

How is my order delivered?

Orders may be delivered in trucks of up to 44 tons and a moffett used to unload them. Therefore, it is important that your property is accessible by such vehicles. Please inform us of any delivery restrictions.

Do I need to be in to sign for the materials?

All deliveries must be signed for, so therefore someone will need to be in to receive the delivery.

Are the materials taken into my property?

All deliveries are made kerbside and drivers will not be able to help carry the materials into your property.

What about damaged or missing items?

For any shortages in materials from your order In the unlikely event any soundproofing materials arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hrs of delivery and take a photo of the damaged item.

Do you deliver on a weekend?

All deliveries take place Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

Do you deliver outside of the UK?

Delivery outside Mainland UK may be arranged by prior agreement. The Soundproofing Store can deliver to a freight forwarding company within the UK, where the collection and overseas shipping is arranged in full by the customer Alternatively, materials can be collected directly from the warehouse and shipped overseas. Again, arranged in full by the customer Please be aware that due to Brexit legislation, if you buy a product from a non-EU country, you become liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as the VAT applicable to that country.

Delivery Charges

The Soundproofing Store endeavour to offer the best possible service to our customers:

Small parcels are sent by courier on a next day service
Dedicated delivery service for soundproofing materials 3 - 5 working days and made by our dedicated delivery trucks direct from our warehouse

(For extremity postcodes we may use a pallet network)

Charges For Most Of The UK Mainland

Small items via external parcel courier on a next day service for £19.95 + VAT per parcel (Up to 30kg) - 1-2 working days.

All other orders via pallet shipping (8.00am to 6pm) up to 5 working days £75 + VAT per pallet - regardless of number of pallets.

Sound Absorption Orders

Sound Absorption products are custom made and as such are not delivered by pallet networks or couriers. They are delivered using a dedicated van straight from manufacturing to avoid any marks or damages and to ensure reliable delivery.

Delivery rates for these products also differ due to the dedicated van service we offer.

Please contact us for delivery costs to Northern Scotland ( above EH and G Postcodes) as these are POA with a different delivery method used.

European Shipping

Delivery outside the Mainland UK may be arranged by prior agreement.

Any failed deliveries due to the customer not being able to take delivery may be charged to the customer at our standard rate

Whilst we endeavour to always deliver in a timely manner there are unfortunately a few occasions when the transport team are unable to deliver on the appointed day. Although this happens rarely, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item, or any costs incurred by customers tradespeople unable to work.

Please ensure you have your materials prior to your tradesperson being onsite

Sound Absorption products must be ordered separately from all other products sold by The Soundproofing Store

Please bear in mind that we are Soundproofing distributors and not couriers. We pride ourselves on our service, and while that means that we dispatch within 24 hours on a next business day service for small parcels, the deliveries themselves are obviously outside of our control. Deliveries are subject to variations in weather conditions, localised traffic issues and other factors that could disrupt the service provided to you

In cases of delayed delivery, we will of course track your order and do everything in our power to both keep you informed and liaise with the delivery team or courier to help get your consignment delivered in a timely manner
