Ian had the foresight to trademark and introduce some of the most effective and innovative soundproofing products in the industry. Early on, he recognised that soundproofing isn't just about noise, it's about peace of mind. His vision to combine market-leading products with honest, expert advice became the foundation of our approach. Though Ian has now stepped down as Managing Director, his legacy continues to shape the way we support our customers and grow the business.

Senior Technical Adviser 

With a background in sound engineering and experience managing a regional tool hire store, Sam combines the perfect mix of soundproofing expertise and building strong customer relationships. 

He loves sport, music and his pride and joy is his drum kit. 

Phil's knowledge of soundproofing is second to none. An expert in everything from soundproofing a room in your home, to a music studio and everything in between. 

An authoritative voice within Soundproofing, Phil also fronts The Soundproofing Store YouTube channel, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise with people all over the world. As Managing Director, he’s passionate about building on the company’s strong foundations, whilst his clear vision and collaborative style make him a key force in shaping the next exciting chapter of our journey. 

The linchpin of the company and office mum, Claire wears many hats. She's amazing at juggling everything from technical support, sales, processing orders and ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the office. She's also an an accomplished ballet dancer, super fit and loves creating her own quiet space when walking her two dogs Lulu and Rosie.



Steve Clements

Steve brings with him his 80’s rock star status (minus the hair!) and years of experience within technical engineering.

When Steve isn’t listening to customers and offering them expert advice, he’s got the rest of the team hooked with his amazing life stories (look out for the book!)

If you need him to sign a copy you’ll need to be quick, as he’s up at 6am running his morning 5k. 

With a background in sales and marketing, working across brands ranging from voice recognition software, kitchen retailers and some of the biggest magazine brands in the UK, Tamzin constantly looks at ways to develop our brand and website. When not sat at her desk she can be found clip-clopping at horse shows up and down the country.

With over 16 years of technical sales experience, Ian delivers a wealth of knowledge and expertise day in day out to all customers.

The consummate professional and consummate joker, when not in the office he can be found shouting ‘fore’ on the golf course or travelling the world. There's nothing Ian loves more than a holiday (don’t tell Mrs Manning)!

Frankie Fyfe

Technical Adviser

With over 10 years experience delivering exceptional customer service, Mary Poppins would be hard pressed not to award Frankie a gold star for her ‘cheery disposition’, or should that be steely disposition?

When she’s not sat behind a desk, she’s also been known to sit behind the wheel of a Mini Cooper. A former winner of a British Rallycross Championship no less!  

Mike Shaw

Mike is a seasoned sales expert with over 35 years of experience. He takes great pride in building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering the best solutions to their unwanted noise issues.

When not at work you’ll find him enjoying his garden with his beloved dog Fletcher and cats Ted and Dougal. Whilst not a fan of flying, Mike’s love for adventure and British touring cars keeps him discovering hidden gems closer to home.
